We believe these skills are prevalent for today’s job opportunities and can be used as a coping mechanism for decreasing stress and practicing mindfulness. Coding can bring a whole new level of research toward CBT. Many individuals with mental illness have claimed that coding is therapeutic and lowers stress. One theory is it increases the flow and activity of the neural pathway in the prefrontal cortices, which in return increases focus and decreases symptoms.
