The Art Division generously donated various art books to the Painted Brain community center. Books about Vincent Van Gogh, Andy Warhol, and everything in between are available to our community members: Painted Brain hopes this generous contribution will inspire artists to create their masterpieces.
Art Division is a non-profit organization dedicated to training and supporting underserved youth who are interested in studying visual arts.
Art Division provides in-depth services to young adults aged 18-26 in the Rampart District of Los Angeles, an at-risk population within one of Los Angeles’ most densely populated and underserved communities. They believe that focused instruction, individualized tutoring, and personal support give students the tools they need to pursue higher education, achieve self-sufficiency, and obtain careers in the arts and related fields.

This organization is also dedicated to community engagement and building a thriving arts community in the Rampart District.
Art Division wants to spread its resources, as they understand the benefits of art in healing the community, a value essential to Painted Brain’s mission. This is an excellent partnership in supporting each other’s missions.
Painted Brain is exceptionally grateful for The Art Division’s donation and support. Anyone is welcome to check out these great books at the Painted Brain Community Center, and these books have already sparked conversations among Painted Brain participants.

Painted Brain creates lasting community-based solutions to mental health challenges and the impact of social injustice through arts, advocacy, and enterprise. The Painted Brain Community Center is located at 5980 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90035.
The Community Center is open on Mondays and Wednesdays, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Painted Brain also has art events running throughout the year.
