In today’s increasingly digital world, access to technology and the ability to navigate digital health resources can significantly impact an individual’s overall well-being. Painted Brain is committed to bridging the digital divide and empowering individuals to harness the potential of technology for improved mental health and overall wellness.

Our Digital Health Literacy Training program is designed to equip mental health consumers and the general public with the essential skills and knowledge to navigate the complex digital health landscape.

By providing a series of comprehensive courses, our program empowers participants to:

  • Understand and utilize digital health tools: Participants will learn to effectively use smartphones, tablets, and computers to access mental health information, connect with support networks, and manage their conditions.
  • Navigate the digital health landscape: Our training will guide participants in identifying reliable sources of information, evaluating the credibility of online content, and discerning fact from fiction.
  • Protect their privacy and security: In an era of increasing cyber threats, we will equip participants with essential digital safety practices to safeguard their personal information and maintain online privacy.
  • Develop essential digital skills: Participants will acquire fundamental digital literacy skills, including email communication, online research, and social media engagement, enabling them to actively participate in digital communities and support networks.

Through our peer-led approach, we foster a supportive learning environment where participants can share experiences, ask questions, and build confidence in their digital abilities. By investing in digital health literacy, we aim to bridge the digital divide and empower individuals to take control of their mental health and overall well-being.
