Incorporeal Reality

As night falls, my eyelids close and I see memories, clear and bright,

Like dreams they whirl around and sing as if accompanied by angels heralding light,

In the company of angels the night falls beyond darkness and deep,

My slumber brings a different reality closer to my soul to keep,

All planes of vision real and alerting my senses to their presence,

Reality of eternity; past and present rolling toward a future of untold essence,

Dreams of things that exist only on the back of my eyelids,

Visions disturbing my psyche,

But just another reality clawing it’s way into my world,

As night falls my eyelids close, I see existence and I’m hurled,

Into memories and dreams combined,

The reality of humankind,

The night falls.
